Joey Logano & Who wears the firesuit in the Family?

Even though Joey Logano is only 20 he still needs to man up in certain situations and take it like a a man. I think that if he wants to make it in this sport that he can't have his father being around him and let him handle situations like these himself cause that's the only way he'll be accepted in this sport. Now onto the thing he said a pocono about Delana Harvick wearing the firesuit in the family and telling kevin what to do. I think he said that out of anger & frustration but onto that subject...Why does Delana Harvick wear the firesuits when all the other NASCAR wives just wear normal clothes? Is she trying to make some sort of a statement? Why should it matter what you wear to a NASCAR race when your there to support your husband/boyfriend....All that should matter is that they are there playing a role and helping out the team and watching there husband/boyfriend race and it really shouldn't matter what you wear. I don't think delana is at all trying to make a statement nor do i think that she wears the firesuit in the family or even tells kevin what to do. Kevin is who he is and Delana is who she is and let's just leave it at that. Those comments that joey made he made out of frustration and what was trying to deal with the situation at hand but come on your a grown adult why are you acting like a big cry baby on national television? I don't think that sets a good example for all your fans that it's ok to go out and do that and that's it's ok to have your daddy there to back you up. Mr. Logano needs to take a step back and let his son deal with these situations himself, cause that's the only way he's ever gonna learn in this sport.

Hall of Fame induction: Remembering 'The Intimidator'

What do you remember about Dale Earnhardt? He is the one that everyone watched out for every single week he was the one that Richard Childress gave up his seat in his car to let Dale Earnhardt drive for him. He has done alot for this sport and ever since his death his i think alot of changes have been made as far as safeness in this sport and keeping the drivers as well as the fans safe. We don't need to have another tragic death happen as we witnessed on the day that Dale Earnhardt died on feb 18, 2001! The greatest moment in history was when Dale Earnhardt won the Daytona 500 in 1998 and when every crew member from every team lined up down pit road awaiting dale earnhardt and slapping him in the hand and congradulating him on winning the biggest race of the year. A moment like that will never happen again and i think that with the 76 wins and his 7 championships and all that he has accomplished and set in this sport, that Dale Earnhardt should be apart of this inaugural class and should be remembered not only has a father, a son, a great family man but someone who has changed the sport of NASCAR and for someone who put a big staple in this sport and will always be remembered for what he has done in his life & racing career. 'Continue The Legend' We love & Miss you Dale!

The Importance of a NUMBER in......SPORTS!

When Jackie Robinson died MLB retired the number so no one would be allowed to have it, the signifigance of that number in baseball history was that Jackie Robinson changed the face of baseball forever. So you would think that it would only be fair to just retire the number rather than let players/teams have the option to use it. So as we move on to another sport we like to call NASCAR we are reminded of another face that altered the sport. A driver we all know as Dale Earnhardt. Dale changed the sport of NASCAR and paved the way for other such talents such as Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, etc. So you would think on the day that we lost a legend, the intimidator that it would only be fitting that the number that he made famous and drove to 7 championships would be retired. But nooo. Now i know that NASCAR owns the numbers and that they hand out the numbers to each team but don't you think that the #3 should be laid to rest and be retired? No one should ever drive that car or that #3 even if your last name is Earnhardt cause your not really good enough to take on that responsibility, your not Dale Earnhardt and no one ever will be. So please if you like and respect our legends, the greats of NASCAR you should consider taking those FAMOUS numbers like the 3, 43 etc...from the drivers who have driven the cars with those numbers and have retired, to the drivers who we have lost driving with those numbers. Like Jackie Robinson, Dale Earnhardt has done so much for the sport of NASCAR from his 7 titles to all that he had accomplished in his racing career, i think it's only fitting that the banner be lifted and that the #3 be retired from racing FOREVER....Cause no one will ever be like Dale Earnhardt!

Sound off: Kahne to Hendrick? Toughts?

what else is there to ssy other than wow.... i mean i can't see him get rid of mark but jr needs to go and i don't see rick getting rid of him anytime soon. Kasey Kahne does have alot to bring to the table and alot to offer and would be a grest fit for the whole organization but obiviously we all know that someone needs to go. Look at the stats since dale jr has been with hendrick he has won 1 race and hasn't even been up there to be able to contend for the championship whereas mark has but well all know that mark won't be around that much longer in this sport. But there are also alot of reasons on why dale jr should be let go come on just because he's an earnhardt does not mean he's like his father and races like his father or is as good as his father cause he is not. I mean he does have his moments but he's never up there going for a win or being that threat every week to try and get himself into the chase. So Mr. Hendrick do what's best for your organization and get rid of the drivers that aren't useful and don't do much and bring on someone who will, which you have done. Kasey Kahne may not of won a championship but look at his stats so far in his career and look at jr's then you'll see that all four drivers can run in the top 10 everyweek and all be in contention for a win and maybe for a championship. No disrespect to dale jr i mean he's a great driver but if he keeps on driving the way he does then all you'll be doing is losing money instead of making money. Kasey Kahne is a moneymaker and everyone can see that. It's not all about popularity and to Dale Jr it's like a popularity contest and we don't need somone like that on our team. any thoughts on this subject? @reply on twitter to @igotit4ddubjonk or comment below.

Retaliation & Retrispect

When is it ok to get some payback? How far do you take it? What should the Punishment be?

As we saw on sunday at Atlanta there was a little rough housing happening on track between 2 drivers Carl Edwards & Brad Keselowski and when we saw Brad clipped Carl in the first incident that took out Carl Edwards we saw that team repair the car and get back out on track but a car that -150 laps down to a car running 6th in the race looking at a good finish get's taken out and it escalates into dangerous levels with the #12 car going airbourne. My Question to you is how far would you go to pay someone back? Until we lose another life...What we saw on sunday was something that a driver did and took a bit to far and didn't seem to show and sympathy for the one involved, instead stating "I didn't think he would go Airbourne". Do you think what Carl did was right? and How far does it have to go for NASCAR to do something before another life is lost? These are the questions that still remain unanswered and the questions that will still remain unanswered unless we do something about it.

I think that what Carl Edwards did was wrong but the punishment does not fit the crime. 3 race probation? come on. What happens when a incident like that would of went from bad to worse and the driver would of gotten seriously injured? The what? What kind of message is that sending out to other drivers? That it's ok to do that until we lose a life. i think that NASCAR needs to re-think there punishment policy based on the incident at hand. Carl Edwards should of been suspended for 1 race and put on probation until 9/5. Why? cause this way he's limited on what he can do when it comes to paying someone back. Cause we all know he will do it again and it may be alot worse then last time. We don't need another 'Dale Earnhardt incident' and i think it's gonna take sometime for NASCAR to realize when is 'too far'! If we don't say anything now then things like this will just keep happening as we watch NASCAR sit back and punish them how they see fit not based on the incident at hand.

Mike Helton did a press conference the other day on this and i think someone needs to tell him that what he's doing is wrong and it doesn't really send a message out. Also it doesn't really teach anyone a lesson, cause we all know it will happen again and this time it won't be pretty!
